Top off your visit to Encore Apartments Bathurst with some music, arts and culture
If you’re planning a trip to Bathurst this month, you’re in for a real treat. The Inland Sea of Sound Festival is Bathurst’s major festival of music, arts and culture and will kick off 30 November.
The two-day festival is set to the magnificent backdrop of Wahluu-Mount Panorama and includes a stellar line-up of over 100 musicians headlined by The Cat Empire, Benny Walker and Deborah Conway.
Now in its eighth year, the Inland Sea of Sound Festival brings people together from all over the region to celebrate Australian live music and art and to honour and promote the culture of the Wiradyuri people. It also offers a unique opportunity for emerging local artists to showcase their talent.
Interactive art installations created by local artists will light up Wahluu-Mount Panorama while local food producers and artisans will bring a taste of Bathurst to the festival. Bathurst’s local wineries and brewery will also be on hand to ensure you don’t go thirsty.
Those bringing children will enjoy Kids’ Space – a variety of workshops (including yoga, circus playtime and ‘make your own music’ workshops) especially created for children.
